God has been good to me

He knew me even before my birth
He numbers the hairs on my head
He has lovingly guided my footsteps each day
Before my first words were said

Who am I that God could love me so much?
All through my life I have felt His healing touch
When I look back, as far as I can see
God has been good to me

His angels encamp around me
And keep me safe in His care
Long before my time on earth began
He gave His Son, salvation to share
